Solicitor Accreditation

The LMA is accredited under the Solicitors Regulation Authority's (formerly the Law Society) CPD scheme. English solicitors who attend UK LMA training events and seminars receive CPD credit based in hours on the time in attendance (excluding registration and refreshment breaks) at particular LMA events, subject to confirmation of attendance at the delegate registration desk on the day.

How do I claim CPD points?
CPD points can be claimed for UK based LMA events only. Events abroad are not CPD accredited. It is mandatory that delegates who wish to claim CPD points have registered for the event in person on the day with the Event Coordinator.

We cannot add you to the CPD register post an event, if you did not register yourself on the day with the LMA Coordinator, as SRA rules state that we can only confirm the CPD allocation to those in attendance.

Please email the LMA Event Manager responsible, after the event, to confirm your attendance and to provide you with the CPD reference information. Please note, we endeavour to reply to queries within 3 working days, but during busy periods this can sometimes take longer. We appreciate your understanding.
