Certificate Course

We will be holding our LMA Certificate Course in its original live, in-person format from 24 to 28 October 2022 at Grand Connaught Rooms in London.

The LMA Certificate Course is a one week training course aimed at those working in the banking and institutional investor markets looking to gain a broad understanding of the workings of the primary and secondary syndicated loan market. The course can be for those working in the legal profession.

This course is suitable for bankers, non-bank investors and lawyers. It is aimed at those who are:

• Relatively new to international banking; or
• Practitioners, working in one segment of the loan market, who require a broader overview of the various activities which make up the syndicated loan market; or
• Junior personnel in origination, distribution or a trading team; or
• Seeking to enter a syndication team and need to develop their knowledge of the market; or
• Practitioners in other product groups, such as asset swaps, CDS and relative value, who require an insight into the syndicated loan market.

Payment & cancellation

The course fee is £1,850 (plus VAT) which covers all tuition, lunches, refreshments and course materials.

Our invoices in this regard will be raised 6 weeks in advance of the course, and Joining Instructions will be sent out approximately 2 weeks before the start of the course.

Please do advise at your earliest convenience if you are no longer able to attend, as once we have raised your invoice, we will not be able to issue a refund. Those who cancel their attendance on/after 12 September 2022 will be eligible for the full cost of the course. After this time, a substitute delegate can be nominated prior to the start of the course, or, alternatively, a delegate can be switched to a later course, subject to the LMA being able to find a replacement.

Joining the course

Please note that by registering for this course, you will be expected to attend in person. This is not a virtual course.

You will receive detailed joining instructions approximately 2 weeks before the course starts, which will include the course timings, how to travel to the venue and any additional measures that you will be expected to comply with.
