Early Evening Seminar

The LMA's September Early Evening Seminar is entitled "Post-Brexit developments in the UK real estate finance market – a market and legal view".

The Seminar will provide a market and legal update on the latest developments and trends in the UK real estate market, which will include a:

• Panel discussion on the current state of the UK real estate market (including topics like the general availability of liquidity and market confidence, the impact of the latest reduction in the BOE base rate, deal-flow, positive yield/pricing levels, the use of market flex, increases in opportunistic investments by non-UK funds into the UK real estate market);
• Brief presentation from Baker & McKenzie on current legal trends (including LMA updates, the current use of bail-in language and other provisions likely to be impacted by Brexit); and
• Discussion on valuations, including LTV ratios and the use of carve-out language by valuers.
