The LMA held its first ever Southern Africa Syndicated Loans Conference in Zimbabwe on 13 September 2016.
This event was free to both members and non-members of the LMA and was open to all professionals operating in the syndicated (and wider corporate) loan markets in Southern Africa. This all-day conference had a specific focus on the syndicated loan markets in the region (excluding South Africa). Speakers consisted of senior market practitioners from local and pan-African commercial banks as well as advisors and law firms active in the region.
As the authoritative voice of the syndicated loan market in EMEA, the LMA supports the industry by offering template syndicated loan documentation, establishing market practice, educating the market and removing barriers to entry for new participants.
