What is a hybrid conference?
A hybrid conference is a conference you can attend either in-person or remotely via a virtual conference platform.
How do I register to attend in-person?
Please click the "Register now" button in the "Attend in-person" section in the "Details" tab and follow the process. Note that you will need to be logged into your LMA user account to be able to process with registration. You should receive an automatic email stating that your registration has come through. Your registration will then be processed and you will received a formal confirmation email or a waitlist notification within 3 working days.
If you encounter any issue with your registration please reach out to registration.lmaevents@lma.eu.com, stating "Developing Markets Conference in-person registration" in the subject line.
How do I register to attend virtually?
Please click on the "Register now" button in the "Reserve your Virtual Place" section in the "Details" tab. Registration for virtual attendance is direct with our conference technology provider, WorkCast, and is very similar to registering for a webinar. As this is a virtual online event, registration is by individual (ie no group bookings) and only the contact details of the person attending the event should be used. Note that you will need to be logged into your LMA user account to be redirected to the WorkCast registration form. Once you have registered, you will receive an automated notification email from donotreply@workcast.com. If you have not received an email, please check your spam folders and speak to your IT team. You may need to re-register for the event once WorkCast has been added to your safe senders list.

Is the conference free to attend?
Yes, the conference is free of charge for all LMA members, whether they attend in-person or virtually.
I have a confirmed place for in-person attendance, can I swap for virtual attendance?
Yes, if you have a confirmed place for in-person attendance, you can swap your place for a virtual one at any time. Firstly, please make sure to email registration.lmaevents@lma.eu.com to cancel your in-person place so that it can be re-allocated to someone on the waitlist. Then you will be able to proceed and register for a virtual place.
I have a virtual place, can I swap to attend in-person?
If you have a registered to attend virtually but now wish to attend in person, you can register directly under the "Attend in person" section and follow the process. Depending on the number of places left available at the venue, you will either get a confirmed place, or you will be placed on the waitlist. You will receive a formal notification from us either way.
We would recommend that you still keep your virtual place so that you can access the conference platform on the day in case you do not get a confirmed place for in-person attendance.
How do I access the conference virtually?
Click the "Join event" button in the confirmation email you have received from donotreply@workcast.com. You will be required to enter your email address before entering the conference platform so make sure you register using your work email address which will be the same email address you use to gain access.
You can use either a desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone to access the conference.
Troubleshooting for virtual attendees:
I am having technical issues with viewing the sessions.
Please do test your connection here. If it shows your connection is insufficient, please speak to you IT department to check internet connection and firewall settings.
Sometimes you need to empty your browser cache to enable the media to play. Alternatively you can try accessing from a different browser.

I have trouble accessing the virtual event platform.
This can be for either of the following reasons:
- Your company firewall is restricting access to the virtual platform. In that case you will need to either speak to your IT department to gain access, or attend from a personal device, or any device that is not connected to your company's firewall.
- Your email address is not recognised. If this is the case, please contact registration.lmaevents@lma.eu.com, so we can find out what the issue is and help you gain access.
